Stomp Supporters and Friends,
The 5th Annual Stomp The Blues Out of Homelessness Festival was atremendous success and I thank everyone for their support. This year we choose two local charities to support directly by giving them a place at the event to sharetheir stories and need.
The Rare Breed Youth Center has been at the center of our focus since day1 and their services are vital to our community. The numbers of homeless and at risk youth in Greene County is staggering. This group provides a safeharbor, food and clothing as well as necessary services for the kids to move forward.
W.I.N. or Women In Need of the Ozarks has been around for some 13 years and quietly provides support to working women who get a onetime giftthat helps them get past immediate crisis’ such as automobile trouble, medical bills etc..
Each of our bands had a personal and emotional connection to our mission and I would invite you to go to their websites and read how they overcame and howthey provide guidance to those they touch.
Sister Lucille wrote a beautiful song of our mistreatment of military veterans aftertheir service – we love these guys – thank you Jaime and Kim.
The planning for Stomp The Blues 6 has already begun so mark your calendarsfor May 21st, 2016.
