Chase Walker

Chase Walker Band brings fresh, authentic energy to modern blues-rock — a sound built on gritty emotion, soulful vocals, and searing guitar work that hits with the force of a live wire. Fronted by guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Chase Walker, the band blends the raw spirit of vintage blues with a bold, contemporary edge, creating music that feels both nostalgic and electrifyingly new.

Raised in California and sharpened in Nashville’s competitive music scene, Chase has been playing guitar since childhood, evolving from a prodigy player into a dynamic frontman and expressive songwriter. His guitar tone growls and soars, his vocals cut with conviction, and his instinct for crafting hooks gives the band a distinctive punch that sets them apart in today’s blues-rock landscape.

In July 2024, the band released Sounds of an Old Soul, Chase’s first fully self-produced album — a milestone in songwriting, musicianship, and production. The project captures the band’s signature sound: swampy riffs, soulful melodies, and the kind of analog warmth that feels lived-in and real. The lead single “No Good” made an immediate impact, landing on Spotify’s Modern Blues Rock, In the Name of the Blues, and Joe Bonamassa’s Cutting Edge Blues play

The lead single "No Good" is anything but that, this modern blues rock banger exploded on to the scene with immediate adds to Spotify's Modern Blues Rock playlist, Bonamassa's Cutting Edge Blues playlist and Spotify's In the Name of the Blues playlist.

Chase describes "Sounds Of an Old Soul" like this....

"Well I started playing music when I was 9 or 10, but long before that people always said I was an “Old Soul.” I was painfully shy as a kid but that "Old Soul" label didn’t really make much sense to me at the time, until I found music. I mean, when I fell in love with music, I fell hard. She drew me in with the likes of SRV, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix and Otis Redding. Then she led me deeper to guys like Curtis Mayfield, Alan Lomax, Ohio Players, Mongo Santamaria and Donald Byrd. Whether it's the haunting melody of a lone trumpet or the harmonious blend of voices in a gospel choir, music speaks to me in ways words can't express. It might sound strange but music for me is the language of my emotions, the soundtrack of my memories, and the heartbeat of my existence. I am hopelessly hooked on this mistress I call music. So, I guess this album is a bit of a love letter to her, and all of those influences that shaped me then and now."

Releasing July 2024, “Sounds Of An Old Soul,” delivers a fresh take on Roots Rock & Roll with a range of sounds evoking artists like The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, and James Brown.
