The Bands - 2018

Marc Broussard

"My fans have been asking me for years," said Marc Broussard, his road-hewn voice unmistakable over the phone. "Every time I come out with a record, they're like, 'It's good but it doesn't do the live show justice.' With Keep Coming Back, I feel that we've finally delivered an album that does exactly that."

Marking his debut release on Atlantic Records, this set of original tunes does more than that. Recorded in just 11 days at Nashville's historic Ocean Way Studios, Keep Coming Back confirms Broussard's position as an artist with a unique gift of channeling the multiple spirits of classic R&B and soul into contemporary terms.

Samantha Fish

After launching her recording career in 2009, Samantha Fish quickly established herself as a rising star in the contemporary blues world. Since then, the charismatic young singer-guitarist-songwriter has earned a reputation as a rising guitar hero and powerful live performer, while releasing a series of acclaimed albums that have shown her restless creative spirit consistently taking her in new and exciting musical directions.

The New York Times called Fish “an impressive blues guitarist who sings with sweet power” and “one of the genre’s most promising young talents.” Her hometown paper The Kansas City Star noted, “Samantha Fish has kicked down the door of the patriarchal blues club” and observed that the young artist “displays more imagination and creativity than some blues veterans exhibit over the course of their careers.”

Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal

Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal’s combination of soul, funk and R&B is in a word, electric. Best displayed in their high-energy live show, the blend of Hoyer’s honest lyrics and his soulful (sometimes in-your-face) vocals merge with his top-notch band to create an undeniable chemistry.

Brenda Meyer

The Brenda Meyer Band features Brenda Meyer, a dynamic Memphis Soul, Blues and Classic Rock vocalist with a style all her own who's soulful voice is compared to that of of Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Janis Joplin and the like. Brenda and her band play a variety of Blues and Classic Rock covers as well as some of her original material.
